Have the computer scanned for stored codes. I suspect a problem with the electronic throttle actuator.

SOURCE: Vibration when in gear, and stalling.

The problem is the torque converter solenoid. I had it happen on my 94 Cavalier a few years back and was a cheap fix at the local car mechanic. What happens is the transmission warms up and hits a certain speed where the solenoid engages, but then it sticks and won't disengage until it cools down sufficiently. When it sticks, it causes the car to shake when slowing down and will snub out the engine if you come to a stop.

SOURCE: car is hard to start, keeps stalling, white smoke coming out of tail pipe

It sounds to me like you have a head gasket leaking. See if you can get a gauge and check each cylinder. Are you using alot of anti freeze?

SOURCE: rough idle then stalls

Vacume leak or bad idle motor. With the car in park and running with the hood open listen for leaks moving your hand around the different hoses looking for a change in the sounds that you hear. The idel motor also makes the car idel up to 1500 RPM or so right at start-up then idel down, If it doesn;t the idel motor is likly. Check engine light is on when running? Test for codes, Follow code test charts don't skip any steps!.

Testimonial: "Found the problem vacume leak like you said."

My car starts without problem but suddenly stops on the way and very difficult to start afterwards

This canbe due to a faulty fuel pump or a failure of the HT circuit when the engine warms up or the circuit warms up.
The fuel pressure can drop when the temperature goes up in the engine so check the fule pressure when the engine stalls.
Secondly check the HT int he spark plugs when the engine stalls to confirm if there is loss of LT or failure of the HT coil or HT wires.

1985 Dodge Power Ram Prospector Pickup Started 2 Stall When Put In Reverse, Now It Stalls Even After Its Warmed Up

I was having the same problem with my 85 Ramcharger until my alternator went out. After I replaced it the stalling seemed to stop. Other things I noticed that resolved were dimming headlights and dash lights, the radio shutting off periodically when I drove and hard bumps causing the truck to stall. I hope this helps.

1998 Volvo S70 stalls intermittently

Have tried getting quality gasoline at a reliable station? It sounds like water in your fuel system. Add a couple bottles of Iso-Heet fuel system dryer everytime you fill up the next few times, and that should cure it.
