Overheats especially while idling or in traffic

I had the same problem when I bought a used C70 last month. I went to the dealer, provided proof of ownership, and they gave me the code with no problem and it didn't cost a thing! Good luck!

if you could get your hands on a scanner to read some live data it would help your plight,there is a cam position sensor when you take of the the plastic head cover at the timing belt end,did you check plugs,it also might help to clean the maf with some contact spray,sounds like plugs

yes you can change miles to km but only with volvo scan tool to reprogram it nothing that you can do home

using the controls on your center console enter the menu and then car settings and you should be able to change the units of measure there

Did you fail to plug a connector back in somewhere ?
Is the air filter cover sealed with no air leaks ?
