I am mechanically savvy...with a Chrysler background. tryn to find out if 3400 car motors and what years can be interchanged for a wheel chair van for a family with a very disabled child. This is pro bono.....There is a u wrench source near me with lots of 3400 cars....no 3400 vans.
Best thing go to www.reliable-store.com they have got books on every vehicle and also how to service/repair it,
service/repair/owner's/maintenance manual with
parts info, fuse box, gear box, PCV, torque specs, coiling, wiring diagrams, electrical diagrams, fuse diagrams, error codes, etc everything
Worth it
SOURCE: im trying to figure wat is the lug pattern
The factory Lug pattern on the Olds Custom cruiser full size (i.e. Caprice/ Impala) is 5 lug with 5 inch spacing also known as 5 on 5. The S-10, Camaro, and Chevelles are all 5 on 4 3/4 so they will not work. Any 5 lug Full sized Van or full sized GM pickup truck or Astro have the same pattern as the Custom cruiser. Additionally, Most Gm 64-96 Full sized body on frame cars have the same pattern of 5 on 5 (5x5) as the Custom cruiser. Hope this helps.
