I have a similar problem as the 97 Maxima mentioned. I changed all 4 of my shocks on my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee as well as the rotors and afterwards I began to hear a small clanking noise when going over small bumps in the road. It sounds specifically like it's coming from the left back wheel. The mount bushings on the rear shocks are not installed individually but instead comes imbedded in the shock itself. I was wondering if and how is it possible to install this shock incorrectly? Installation seemed pretty straightforward. Will incorrect torquing cause this to occur? Thanks for your help.

I posted incorrectly. I was trying to state that I had a similar issue as the 97 maxima but the site ended up placing that as my car. I actually have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, in which I installed Gabriel shocks all the way around from autozone. Now I'm hearing clanking coming from the driver's rear. Is there anything specific I should be looking for with the bushing?
not sure what u are working on here, what does the Nissan have to do with, what similar problem are u refering to? remember we have no way to access previous posts of problems.
