2 or 4 door? If 2, you should still be able to use key on exterior, and I don't think they have a child lock on 2 doors, so I'm guessing 4. With car unlocked, can't you open rear doors from outside even with child lock on?

there is a button for every child safety lock. on the drivers door. if it is not working, then you may have to take the door pannel off and either plug the wiring back in(especially if the door got slammed hard) or go to a wrecking yard and buy a new switch for just a few bucks & replace it. Door pannels come off really easy. most pop off. some have screws. either way its an easy fix. you can do it. good luck, Tim
Sounds like the lock tumblers are not operating. Maybe from wear, dirt & grime or possible someone tried to break in to your trunk. The easiest way is go to a locksmith and have them pick the lock and repair the tumbler. They can do this so that your ignition key still operates the new lock.
