Set trip odometer to zero, fill fuel tank, drive car until 1/2 tank and fill up again record your miles from trip odometer, divide this number by the gallons of gas you just filled car with and this will give you miles per gallon (MPG)

How do you calculate fuel consumption

fill your tank up, wright down how much, write down the milage, ride it until almost empty, fill it up again, figure up how much fuel was used, find out how many miles you have gone on that tank full and divide it into the amount of gas used. Mileage into fuel.

My Toyota Noah sr 50 4wd gasoline fuel consumption not accepted ! What is the problem?

it would be blowing black smoke and running very sluggishly
for starters run the fault codes and fix the faulty sensors
check for a failed cat converter blocking the exhaust
consumption is calculated in liters per 100 KM
check that you do not have it in 4 wd on hard surface roads as that will seriously affect consumption

What is the average distance i can travel with 40l?

Hi Kevin:
That all depends on how many litres of fuel your vehicle consumes and will vary depending on driving conditions, speed, technique, engine condition, and goodness knows what else.

Let's guess and say you're using 10 litres per 100 km.
40 divided by 10 equals 4
4 times 100 equals 400km

What you will need to do is use your rate of fuel consumption with this calculation.

On my 02 eldorado running tall tires at 65mph rpm is 1750. what mpg can i expect

you might get there but I doubt it as the digger diameter wheels takes more power to turn so the throttle will be opened wider even though the rpm's are lower.

1993 Cougar Specs

I made an electrolizer my Corolla and a smaller unit for my 150cc scooter. I got tons of bubbles so I expected stunning fuel consumption. In the end I chucked them out because they made no difference either to the power or the consumption. Remember, your alternator will be working flat out all the time to keep up with the energy needs and this alone will affect your consumption. Secondly, your engine management system will notice that your car is running leaner and will richen the mixture to compensate. More fuel consumption. You might find that you will put a lot of effort in for little or no return. The only solution for high fuel consumption, apart from a properly tuned car, is a lighter foot.
