Truck Body Control module aka Body control module..
things like locks,windows,wipers,etc on most new vehicles the switches you use don't go directly to the device they just send a signal to the module that sends it to the device telling it to do what it is supposed to do.
Hope that isn't as clear as mud.

Did you clear the code?

ENGINE SURGING COULD BE WEAK FUEL PUMP, STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER,BAD TORQUE CONVERTER SOLENOID OR TORQUE CONVERTER. OR FAULTY TPS.

inside the transmission. climb under neath and make sure all the plugs into the trnas are secure. look to see if any wires caught something and broke.

sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere. Check every ground strap that you can find, make sure it's tight, and not corroded, etc. Sounds like the accessories are trying to find a ground, and going through the brake light to do so, thus burning out from too much current.

is the air coming out of the vents cold?

That was a good suggestion by Molson. Also, if you have been doing a lot of heavy hauling, have them check the strainer, which could be a problem as well.

Possible that the 3-2 downshift solenoid needs replaced in the valve body of the transmission. I would take it to a local transmission shop to have a scanner hooked up to see what codes they can pull from it. Hope this helps! ~Derek~

make sure you had complete tune up, clean intake throttle body with carb cleaner spray, change fuel filter, make sure trans fluid good, check for vacuum leakes in hoses
