SOURCE: where is the bank 2 sensor 1 located.

Oxygen sensors are always numbered like this:

Bank 1 sensor 1
Bank 2 sensor 1
Bank 1 sensor 2
Bank 2 sensor 2

some manufacturers use a kind of shorthand that reads different, but means the same thing:
Sensor 1/1 or O2s 1/1
Sensor 2/1 or O2s 2/1
Sensor 1/2 or O2s 1/2
Sensor 2/2 or O2s 2/2

Bank 1 is always the side of the engine where cylinder number 1 is located and, of coarse, Bank 2 is the opposite side.
On a 4 cylinder engine, there is only 1 bank and it is always referred to as Bank 1.

Sensor 1 is always the upstream sensor (The one located BEFORE the catalytic converter)
Sensor 2 is always the downstream sensor (the one that is located AFTER the catalytic converter.

Most GM engines have #1 cylinder located on the left bank, (or Driver's Side) of the engine,

So, the answer to your question would be that you are looking for the sensor located before the catalytic converter on the right (or Passenger Side) of the truck.

SOURCE: need location of O2 sensor on 97 blazer 4.3 bank 1 sensor 3

Hi the oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust it will either be just before or just after the catalytic converter it will be bolted into the exhaust and will have two wires coming off it that connect into the wiring loom near the engine.

97 GRAND MARQUIS GS. NOT A MECHANIC BUT REPLACING BANK 1 SENSOR 2. FINDING IT HARD TO DISTINGUISH WHICH ONE IS WHICH. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Bank 1 is the side that your #1 cylinder is on and sensor #2 is the one by the catalytic converter. You should have one that is by the manifold and one that is by the cat.

Bank 1 is side where #1 cylinder is, bank 2 is where # 2 cylinder is. Sensor 1 is before cat, sensor 2 is after. So, passenger side after cat.

Where are bank 1 sensor 1, bank 2 sensor 1, bank 1 sensor 2, and bank 2 sensor 2

bank one sensor 1 is the bank of cylinders that number 1 spark plug is located in, bank 2 the other side, this assumes u have a V8, the sensor one location is the sensors that are BEFORE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, the sensors referred to as sensor 2 are after the ones AFTER THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM.

'97 Grand Marquis needs a new Oxygen Sensor

this is going to be on the left side of the exhaust second sensor back or if you only have two sensors it will be just after the cat. all you need is a 7/8 wrench. to change it unless you have the o2 sensor socket.

02 sensor

First of all if it is a 6 cylinder its an inline engine (4.0L). The reason I bring this up is it changes your O2 sensor configuration. Bank 1 sensor 1 ( there is only one bank because only 1 manifold) is the primary O2 sensor controlling the air/fuel ratio dependant on other sensors. Bank 1 sensor 2 is After the cataylistic converter. Depending on the code if low input or high input could be wiring and not a sensor at all. Also a low flow or high flow could indicate somebody previously "punched" the converter out or it is getting clogged due to age and mileage. Hope this helps.
