SOURCE: Isuzu I-290 parts from a Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon

The parts sure better be interchangeable, seeing as how all of those Isuzu pickups roll off of the Canyon/Colorado assembly line. In truth, the Canyon/Colorado is actually based on a jointly-developed platform that was originally sold overseas as the Isuzu D-MAX – however, on the version that was later built here in the United States, General Motors swapped-in their own engines and restyled the body… but the platform itself is virtually identical. Due to something called the Chicken Tax, Isuzu sells the GM version here in the US (rather than their version that is built in Thailand). Basically, it is far too cost prohibitive for Isuzu to sell the D-MAX in the United States – so, to save themselves the tariff, they simply slapped an Isuzu emblem on the domestically-produced Canyon/Colorado instead.

SOURCE: all gages on dashboard stop working

Besides checking fuses look for the wiring harness that delivers the wires from the engine to a male plug and socket on the firewall seen from under the hood of car. If the car is older or if subject to corrosion there maybe a faulty connection. The temp wires should be easy to find so follow the wires back to a plug on the firewall. Take the plug apart and check for corrosion, clean and apply clear grease and reconnect to see if problem fixed. Also check for damaged wiring.

Where can I find the spark plugs on a 2007 Isuzu I-290 engine?

that is a fun one.
i-290 - 2.9 L Atlas LLV I4
gas
4cyl
2.0L
twin cam
see that valve cover, see those 4 COP coils on dead center
front to rear, those make spark, all 4 coils.
and below them are the spark plugs.

shows valve cover off, no need to.... 215 is the part.

25916834-lx3lfdsu0gl5simxdk0r4o1e-5-1.jpgremove COP carefully, do not just yank it out, ask how.
blow out hole with shop air, sand /dirt in engine sux
then remove spark plug, CCW.
use a rubber hose to get it out. (1/4"id)
gap it to spec. Hood of car sticker states that clearly.
then using same hose, put it back.
DO NOT cross thread the plug... use hands only to start any plug.
then set to spec. torque. (15ft/lbs is typical)
why not read all steps. on alldata.com
not skip any?

2007 Isuzu i290 emergency brake pedal will not lock into engaged position. It is still operational when pressed but does not stay locked in

on the bottom, look at the teeth that lock the brake. they maybe rounded off or need a little help. without these teeth it will not lock brake on. they are on the bottom of emergency brake handle. have a good one !!

With my 2007 i-290 4 cylinder on deceleration, while braking, with the ac on, the rpms fluctuate up and down from 1200 to 500?

This is a compensative reaction from the emmission control center, it's really nothing to be concerned with.
