Recently my car wouldn't start. Replaced battery. Have noticed since my radio, clock and power outlet will not work.
Let me ask a few questions: The items mentioned, radio, clock and power outlet...are these the only items not working? does the instrument panel light? Also , does the cigar lighter work? Lastly check fuse # 7(40A) in the battery junction box

SOURCE: Radio Not Working
There are 3 fuses in the interior fuse panel that feeds radio.
no. 11(10amp) is ignition switch power to the radio it comes into radio on the TN/LB wire.
no. 27 (10amp) is hot at all times and comes in on OG/LG wire.
no. 12 (5amp) is hot in run or accessory and comes in on YE/BK wire.
Check these with 12V test light at fuse and at radio connector.
SOURCE: replaced battery - need to reset clock / radio won't play
Yes.. your problem is a micomp (micro computer) issue. There is a communication problem between the micomp and the touchscreen. Replace the micomp.

If the stereo is a factory stereo, you need to call Ford dealer to get the unlock code, this is common with many different makes. As far as the rest, when a battery is replaced, different makes have certain methods required to "reset" the systems.I do not know why they do it.Is it really going to deter theft, you know what I mean?Anyhow, ask the dealer if that applies to your vehicle too,a reset.Tell them you replaced the battery and all the rest what you told me.
Good luck! Greg
