I moved you to F150 (ok/?) 5.4liter or what?
now you can get Ford answers and not Toyota.side show.
did you reset all DTCs after the service? (always 1st step)

VCT (or VVT in generic form)
is tricky.
in fact id never assume the sensor is bad first. (id clean them an believe them)
p0113 is IAT sensor open. (if unplugged key on, bingo)
are you using a scan tool that can see all FORD codes???
id bet not but if are, then there are many VVT codes.

Trouble Code Conditions: verbatum FSM.
Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the IAT sensor signal was more than the self-test maximum 4.60v (Scan Tool reads under -46F). This is a thermistor-type sensor with a variable resistance that changes when exposed to different temperatures.
Possible Causes:

  • IAT sensor signal circuit is open (inspect wiring & connector)
  • IAT sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF (5v)
  • IAT sensor is damaged or it has failed

my guess is doing service key on with IAT unplugged.

no problme i moved you. see above its F150 now. the VTC (VVT) can fail on any car if the cam bounces, (chain or belt drive) that is first. did YOU put all parts back right and plug them all in inlcuding the IAT , sensor, then press RESET on the scan tool, then drive>? if not FAIL.

the IAT is usually on the inake pipes. or air cleaner. its unplugged, for sure. that sensor must drive over it to make it fail, for sure, its just a thermal resistor, RUGGED as can be, really

plug it IN< or remove it again and put back carelully, and reset the codes , then drive.

high means open circuit and high voltage, 5vdc is too high. the sensors is RTC. type. lower ohms/volts = hotter,

for got to say good luck and do ask lots of questions the VVT is tricky man failuers are loose cam.. jogging, about. bad chain/guide, or belt as the case may be. which engine is it. POST DISPLACEMENT and if over head cams? last x is fire. what engine,

they are not all the same. when doing VVT, look all all cam parts in the drawings see whats there, see what can messup;. the codes are set with cam angles are wrong. see. by angles , say to self the PCM see the angle not at the expected point in time, (ITS OFF TIME NOW)

    think like that in win.

    _-__-___-_ Jul 03, 2014

the PCM has VVT cam angle MONITOR, and this nanny runs fulltime. all the time. The PCM does in effect cam angle emulation. (it sure as shoot'n know the crank angle so the cam is 1/2 that. see? and by the factor of VVT changes. that is how the montor works, I study them....

A monitor is background software, in the PCM. just like your PC, the virus scanner runs in the background, quite until something is WRONG. and BAM>

only 1996+ do that code. (july1 1995 build day sure are 1996 model year.)

and knocked the IAT sensor wires off.
for sure. its no longer plugged in for sure, or broke it.

2005 ford escape code po113 and door ajar light is on

Two different problems.
PO113 is a code for the intake air temp sensor.
The sensor could be bad or could be another problem.
The normal test is to take a scanner and "read" the air temp coming from the sensor. It should be around same as the outside air temp.

I have a Honda Accord 2004 with a code PO339, PO113 &PO344. can you assist in advice to solve these problems

p0339 is crank shaft position sensor related error. you need to be sure that its wiring is not damaged and it is not shorted somehow. if it is broken or getting broken, car may stall, or wont start att all.

p0113 is for intake air tempoerature sensor errors. that sensor measures air ehich enters the engine. it is least important. its effect may not be noticable when weather is not extremely cold.

p0334 is for knock sensor on engine. it prevent predetonation due to ignition conditions appear. it is felt when engine is under load like climbing, and engine speed is low. check for wires if it is ok replace sensor.

we can tell that temperature sensor is not directly effects other sensors.
but knock sensor and crank position sensor is to important for engine. if you have no starting issues, even cold or warm engine, invest on knock sensor first.

Missing, running very rough at idle-very low idle. Engine codes P0011, P0022, P0171, P0300, P0305, P0307, P0316, P2198.

the P0011 and P0022 are the camshaft sensors (both sides) are over advanced--common problem on Fords, and is usually a defective VCT solenoid (variable cam timing solenoid)-it will cause your other codes (P0300 random misfire), P0305 (#5 cylinder), P0307 (#7), P0316 (misfire at startup)-P0171 is a lean condition on side 1, where #1 plug is located (look for a vacuum leak, but a faulty VCT could also cause this)-is there any chance the last oil change set this off? The proper viscosity is very important and may have caused these codes.

The P2198 is O2 sensor signal stuck rich bank 2 sensor 1. Has the engine or sensors recently gotten a bath in oil (seafoam?)-this code indicates something of possibly an over zealous maintenance procedure could have damaged maybe the MAP sensor, or more.... Unfortunately, you have a lot of company. At least you didn't crack a piston or hydrolock the engine. Seafoam is pale oil, naptha, and alcohol. With more detail there should be a reason for all those somewhat related codes-post more information.
