Air in the brake system would result in spongy brakes, Hesitation to stopping sounds more like a blockage in the system or stuck or jammed pistons, either disc pads or drum brake slave cylinders. Try a thorough bleeding of the system, replacing all the fluid and check that each wheel in fact locks when the pedal is depressed and the wheel is clear of the ground.
Please be aware that the situation is dangerous and needs urgent attention, preferably by a qualified person.

My kia 2002 sportage starts and then dies when i come to a stop and hit my break pedal what could my pronlem b?

Is it automatic or manual?

Does it idle normally if you shift to neutral (assuming automatic)?

Does it run normally except when you come to a stop? No roughness hesitation or missing?

The problem could be many things, some simple and minor and, some not.

Is the air conditioner on? Is the symptom different with it off?

This could be anything from a vacuum leak to a transmission problem.

My car cuts off when I stop, and it hesitates, and it has a loss of power

Mass air flow sensor is dirty. It is located on the top of the engine near the air intake. It has three screws that hold the cover on. Clean with a little brake cleaner or carb cleaner. It builds up carbon, but when you clean becareful not to break the little wire that is in there.

Wont shift while driving

  • Check the clutch cable first and then adjust it. And if the adjustment won't work check the clutch linning and the presure plate and also the release bearing if still in good shape.
  • If you have additional questions don't hesitate to reply to this solution.

Sounds like a dirty mass air flow sensor but the hill thing is strange...Is the tank full when this happens? Could be a filter and would not hurt to change it (often neglected).

Location of Ambient air sensor 2006 Ram 1500 Laramie/hemi

There is a trouble some flap to blame for your problems ( part number # 68004226AB). This flap is made of cheap plastic and moves back and forth when u press the recirculation button. The part that slips on the motor breaks. When this happens the flap will fall over the hole for the fan to pull air. This might be why u are seeing hesitation in the fan. Sometimes when u stop that flap covers the hole, sometimes it dosent.

Easy way to fix this trouble some door is to remove the air bag, then cut out plastic grid that is over housing (try not to let any of the grid fall inside the housing this might break the some of the fan blades) you will then see the door laying at the bottom. Then Pull the motor off the side of housing, slide old door out then new one in. This is the easy way the other way is, well lets say trouble some.
