I have a 2007 Honda Element EX AWD. After driving

I have a 2007 Honda Element EX AWD. After driving for a few minutes a loud humming sound appears and the steering wheel starts to shake. The Dearler blamed my tires. They were replaced. Didn't fix it. Next they said it was the trans. Put a rebuilt one in. Not only did that not fix the problem, the trans makes a loud rattling sound when you shift from any gear and when you start to move. So now I have two problems they don't seem to be able to correct. I have had it!

If it is still under warranty they should have put a new transmission in and your first problem sounds like a steering problem, not sure if you have electric power steering or pumped power steering but those should be the first things looked at and then the wheel linkage.

when you drive, safely swerve on the road from left to right and again. when you swerve right the sound should attenuate when left it should be louder.

could be the power steering pump itself. If it has a bad bearing it will do that. Especially when you turn it makes the steering pump work a lot harder.

Noise coming from the rear end of my 2004 honda pilot it really only occurs during cold weather and after it warms up you hear it slightly

When does the noise occur, while driving only, or driving and idle, in gear, or in neutral and park? If it occurs all the time (while driving and at a stand still in cold weather) it could be the fuel pump. If it occurs only while driving, it may be a wheel bearing. Describe the noise (humming, grinding, whirring, etc), and what is the mileage on the Pilot? Answer my questions so I can fine tune my answer. Thanks!

Steering Wheel noise on cold start

this is either a loose belt, or low power steering fluid. Remember that Honda uses a diffrent power steering fluid from everyone else. Make sure it is a Honda compatable fluid, or you will get leaks.
