2008 ford f 150 xlt 5.4 4x4 starting problems

Check fuel pressure. Bad pumps will work, just not enough pressure. If the engine light is on, check codes. Your's has a fuel pressure sensor and module that could go bad.

I don't have the money to have my water pump professionally changed. Im handy and I can change my brakes.. How easily can the pump be changed?

If you are handy, it will take about a day to replace the water pump. You can download the service manual from
http://www.promanuals.com/serviceparts/2005-ford-f-150-repair-service-manual/
Make sure to read the instructions for removal and replacement before you start.

1989 ford f 150 6 cilinder 4.9l is running hot how can i fix this

Start with a good coolant flush.(This should be done every 2 years anyway). Next move to (check or replace) the thermostat and then on to the water pump. Check all water hoses for hardness or blockage. (Bottom radiator hose should have a spring in it). Last, with your head behind the raised hood , idle the engine at about 12-1400 rpm and listen for the clutch fan to come in or go out. Good luck.

02 ford f-150 water getting in somehow and tripping fuses causing windows not to work, stereo & weird beeping sound. Don't know where or how it getting wet.

1 of 2 places.
1. The windshield on the driver's side towards the lower corner. This is the more common location, and causes water to run down the a-pillar, and drip on the cab fuse panel / GEM

2. The less common location, power roof panel. Some times this will have an issue and water will run down the a pillar, similar to the leaking windhsield.

Left front brake caliper locked up, what causes

the small rubber boot around the piston is either off or has a hole, which let water in and rusted the piston to the cylinder

also can be caused by a hot caliper submurged in water
