SOURCE: 1996 chevy blazer tire size

stock is generally the 235/75r15, but if you can find someone to install them or do it yourself easily be able to run 31x10r15 for a little meatier look, this would involve a slight trim of the front skirt edge on some models or depending on your suspension. Any tire shop would easily be able to tell you stock tires or what would fit, but most major retailers (walmart, fleetfarm) will not install ANY tire not listed as factory. so you would have to find a private shop then.

if its temporary no if its gonna be on for awhile maybe stay with same size tires on same axle. if there offset can strip gearing in rear end or cause front end to go bad for alignment. you can put any size on there just might effect the accuracy of speedo. hope this helps

What is the measurement on the front wheel base from the inside of one tire to the inside of the other tire across from it? It is a 1994 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4.

There is no such measurement in print. It would greatly vary from truck to truck due to tire size, type, rim type, age of suspension or any other modifications. The wheel base measurement is from the center of the front tire to the center of the rear tire, this won't change.

I have a 1996 blazer in the book the tire size is 235-70r 15 but when I go on line for tires they all give me 205-70r15 any ideas why?

Those online databases do not always have selections for all options. Just go with whatever size is on the truck now if they work OK for you.

When i put my 2001 blazer in 4 hi and back to 2 wheel drive i smelled something burning.

Sounds like the solenoid actuator is getting ready to burn out, do your self a favor when disengaging the 4WD come to a complete stop and put the truck inreverse when disengaing this releases pressure on the transfer case also be sure that the tires are all the same size if they are not this can bind up the transfer case causing the solenoid actuator to work too hard. Even if the front tires have a lot of tread and the back tires sre worn bad this change in size if driving on bare pavement can cause binding, engage and disengage on dirt or snow to avoid this problem.

Hi i have an 1985 s10 blazer v6 2.8l and i have 22's wire spoke rims on it since i installed the 22's rims it has been running slow would the rims be the problem

Different size tires and rims will make a difference on how your speedometer works. In order to correct this, you will either have to change your tire size, have the gears in the rear axel changed, or put a different speedometer gear or adapter on the transmission.

open the drivers door... on the pillar inside the door is a sticker with the recommended tire sizes.

if the sticker is not there look for it on the inside of your glove box.
