Hi i have a peugeot 307 hdi the battery has been replaced and now the central locking doesnt work and the light on the switch inside the car is flashing red i have had an auto electrition on it but cant find the fault he says the car thinks the drivers door is open but im not sure can anyone help thanks
If you have replaced the battery and the ecu wasn't in sleep mode, then you'll lose the synchronisation between immobiliser and fob. go to peugeot dealer or call out a car locksmith who then can reprogram your fob with car ecu. I have read the method in internet but not sure what the steps were. you can google it may be you'll find it.
Once battery replaced need to reset keyfob as follows, taken from 307 mini manual:
TAKE KEY OUT OF IGNITION. put it back in switch on (dont turn engine over) and hold lock button on key down for 10 secs. switch off take key out making sure not to turn engine ove. once key out, should be reset. pray and try again making sure u wait the customary 5 secs for display to finish.
