I have found a link that should be able to help you. If you didn't already know, the fuse panel diagram is located on the inside of the fuse panel usually. engine temp sensor, i had the same problem on my 04 audi a6, the part was 20 bucks at autozone.

In mine the wiring in the trunk was bad. At the right hinge of the trunk there is a wiring harness for the top. After alot of opening and closing the wires break.

SOUND LIKE PROBLEM IS IN THE SENSOR.

Check your fuse box....unless you hear it trying to close or open, function whatever... but im sure you have a blown fuse. especially if they stoped working at the same time.

You have either a faulty ABS sensor (aka wheelspeed sensor - one at each hub on the car) or your ABS controller is bad. You need to have the car scanned by VAGCom (the Audi diagnostic scan software) - it will tell you which part is failing.

Did Audi scan for diagnostic codes? there are codes in the range P0500 - 03 and P0720 - 23 if there is no codes check for a bad wire from the MFI ECM, It is a white/blue wire (B9 on the ECM) to the internment cluster or maybe an other ECM. Hope it may help
