You probably just need the ecu resetting, but there could be a need to set up a few more engine management features. Certain systems can loose callibration if power is diconnected for a period of time. Take it to your dealer

After reset? With reset dealer tools procedure? Or jus disconnecting battery?

You will need using the dealer tools in order to reseting and setting new periodical time maintenace.

You can't. It takes a special reset tool (very expensive tool also) you don't necessarily have to go to the dealer. Many shops & body shops do it also.

generally the light will quit in a weeks time
if not take it in to have the codes cleared to get the light off

I'm not questioning the integrity of your dealer, but why not get a second opinion? I would take the car to an autoparts store and have them read the codes stored in the computer. Most parts stores will do the scan for free and will reset the check engine light if there are no faults noted. See what fault codes their scan comes up with based on the dealer findings. There's no such thing as too much information. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Your Climate control unit may have to be reset. The reset works as follows: With the key in the ignition and in posistion 2 push both the defrost button and the recirc button (at the same time) for five seconds or untill the led lights in those buttons begin to flash. Wait for 30 seconds or untill the led's stop flashing. Switch off the ignition. Check the evaporator temp sensor and pressure sensor for correct functionality.

Without going to a dealer, you need to get a scan tool to reset the srs light. Go to an Autozone store, They will scan it and reset it free of charge.

Hi, One easy way that you con try to reset your check engine light is disconecting your batery positive cable for few minutes , if this dont turn it off just call any lexus dealer ,they will tell you If is any other way to reset it ,( good luck)
