Sometimes you can find a used ECU at a wrecking yard. If they have the ECU, they probably have everything you need. Not sure why you would need a new immobilizer or cluster. I would try just swapping out the ECU. The guys at the salvage yard may know more advice. Good luck. By the way, you can find parts like this at car-part.com. chances are you don't have to replace the computer. the reason i tell you this is because you did not mention that the car is running lousy. no complaints of rough idle or missfire or hard starting. chances are that your engine speed sensor which sends the signal to the computer which then controls the transmission is most likely the culprit.. and it could just bhe that there is a loose connection between the two. if that is ok then your transmission control module is faulty. this is not the main computer, but the gobetween the trans and the ecm.. hope this helps please rate this...thanks(btw....the knock sensors control timing not the trans mission)

try this:
1. Start with key out of ignition, drivers door is open all others closed and
drivers door is unlocked.
2. Insert key into the ignition (DO NOT Turn) and Pull key out.
3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Using the power lock switch on the drivers door, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles
starting with lock. Use an even pace and try to go about one cycle per second.
(1Cycle = 1 lock and 1 unlock).
B. Close, then open drivers door.
4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.

B. Insert the key in the ignition cylinder.
C. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF.
D. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second.
System should now lock and unlock doors once.
6. Close and open drivers door.
7. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second. System should now lock and
unlock doors. Once to confirm programming, twice to indicate programming failed.
8. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for additional remotes.

did the lock smith cut key with resister in in maybee not gotta go to dealer get one cut then put old key in start car then turn of remove key put new key in turn on till security light goes out then start car

I know there are aftermarket units but you will spend at least $1000 to get one.
However there is an all new RX for 2010, so, as the demand drops off for 2004-2009 accessories, the prices should begin to drop. I have also seen entire RX 330-350 units on ebay while searching for parts for my 2001 RX300.
I do know this is major work as I have seen the techs install an XM kit, ipod jacks and a rear DVD player as well.
They take out half the dash..... It is not a fast fix so at $100 an hour at the dealer, maybe a new aftermarket unit with far better resolution would be your best value.The 2004-2005 RX NAV was a bit grainy for my liking.......
