It's possible your Hilux would run on that blend, but I don't believe Toyota would honor any warranty repairs (if you have any warranty). The cooking oil would have to be filtered to remove any particles, contaminants, or moisture before using it as these things would cause problems with your fuel system. Cooking oil will also gel up as the weather cools, so you would have to find a way to warm the oil to prevent that from happening. You would also have to find a way to keep the cooking oil and diesel fuel from separating.

Take the Vehicle back to the Installer/Supplier, for a Free of Charge CHECK and ADVISE under New Engine Warranty. If the OIL PRESSURE is LOW, when starting up from COLD, there is a genuine fault, so do not drive any distance.

Hi,
Have any luck with this as I have exactly the same problem except the ign2 fuse under the dash also keeps blowing. Alternator does not appear to be charging either.
