Yesterday i parked my car and went into the store; when i came out the car won't start. none of the lights on the dash were on but the green key flashing and a couple of icons. I unlocked the passenger side with the key last night and now all the lights on the dash board come on and it want to start but doesn't. The flashing green key also come on. What is wrong?

the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck

the ignition has two codes, one is in the key.and the other is in the remote(rolling code) the car is telling you that the key is recognised to start the engine but the remote has not sent the correct signal,it will allow you to start the car but is is possible the remotes battery needs replacing, change all keys at the same time, your main keys battery will last about 9 months, the 2nd key about 2 yrs...

can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or
no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition
coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned. To
