SOURCE: location of the sparkplug wires in a 2000 jeep grand cherokee
If you have the distributorless ignition, you wont have any spark plug wires. This is because the ignition coil packs sit directly on top of the spark plugs. The spark plug boots are connected directly to the ignition coil pack.
If you stand in front of your vehicle open the hood and look to the left side of the motor, just around at the bottom of the valve cover, you'll see a series of three humps. Those are the coil packs and they are held in by four bolts I believe and if you take those out and pry up on the long coil pack, it will come loose from the plugs and then you can change them out.
