Question edited for clarity into something that resembles 'year make model', which is needed in all questions as first 3 words. Also changed 'GWMspeed' into 'GWM Steed'.

Flywheels are built to make it very difficult to fit the wrong way around. The faces are shaped for front and back as well as the bolt holes not being evenly spaced to position it for the timing marks.
Does the vehicle crank? Does it just spin or does it try to start and not catch? Check your mechanical timing marks and the connections to all the sensors that were remove for the work you had done.
Go back to the basics and check for spark, fuel and air flow. Then check for any error codes with an OBD2 scanner for clues to the reason for the no start.
if the pump is gear driven you will have corresponding timing marks on the idle gear and the crank gear
the degrees on the flywheel are are fine tuning the pump injection timing
If it is belt driven look for timing marks on the timing housing or block and make sure that all timing marks ( crank, cam ) all line up as well
Hi everyone, I'm looking for diagram or manual photos of GWM 2008 Model with a GW2.8TC-2 diesel engine, for front timing cover marks of camshaft and diesel pump. I bought the vehicle with disassembled engine and the injector wires were tempered with. So I also need to know how to identify which one to plug on cylinder number 1 till 4th cylinder. Any help will be appreciated. Email me the diagrams to [email protected] (Att : Piet)
I'm sorry but I believe you have this posted in the wrong product category? Please re-post the question in the proper category if this is the case, otherwise you have my apologies. This is the car and truck problem category
Yes you have to remove the plate and the four nuts that hold the TC in the vehicle. You can damage the pump and the TC hub leaving on the flywheel. Also when the time comes to put the replacement in you have to align the TC into the pump of the trans, you can't do that if it is hooked up to the flywheel.
Remove the shield and use a remote start to turn the flywheel around to each nut. You can also use a pry bar pushing on the teeth of the flywheel to turn it. Then push the TC back into the trans to lower it.
