How to adjust headlights

Question edited for clarity and add maker.

It is fairly easy, but you need a Beam Board to shine the lights on.

find some level ground near a building or a wall, pull up close, then mark the height of the headlights horizontally on the wall, then mark the centers of the headlights vertically to make two plus signs in front of each headlight, then back up 30 feet and with the high beams adjust each headlight to each plus sign and your done. hope this helps.

If bulb is ok, check fuses and relay related to each sides. IF both lights went aout at same time headlight switch/lever could be problematic and if it is, you need a new switch.

sorry but you can,t...its controlled by the engine control unit via a signal from the oxygen sensor.....have to ask why would you want to ??

I'm not sure you will find a lens. The headlights are sealed units. I would check ebay.

open the hood, take a close look at your headlights, if it is a headlight assembly, there are two screws with big plastic heads on the back of the assembly, these are the adjusting screws. one for horizontal adjustment and the other one is for vertical adjustment.

if the headlight is a round or square ordinary bulb, the adjusting screws are located near the bulb itself, these are philips screws. one on the top and one on the side.

a suggestion; when adjusting headlights, face the car to a wall about 5 ft away and adjust the headlight.

open the hood by the lights u will see a hole wth a light symbl near it put a long screwdriver in and turn the click wheel thing that will raise/lower the whole headlight assembly. ADJUST THE LOW BEAMS BECAUSE THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY MOVES HIGHBEAMS ARE NOT AS IMPORTANT
