Can the camshaft sensor on my wife's chrysler Sebring 2,4l cause it not to start after changing the cylinder head gasket?

As it is a possibility some vehicles dont run with a faulty cam sensor . But if you are getting a cam sensor fault after head gasket id be rechecking the engine timing .

Hi James:
The hose (or line) will be threaded on at each end. Just unscrew the couplings and install the replacement. Then top up the fluid.

What are the probable causes of DTCs P0303 and P0306?

The car is in limp mode.
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
You need to clear fault codes with a scanner and see if the same fault occurs, if so, check the injectors for those cylinders. Swop cyl 3 injector with cyl 4 injector, if you get a code P0304, the injector is not working, and needs to be checked for a bad connection or maybe the injector is faulty, do the same with cyl 6, swop with cyl 5
Please keep me posted

Cylinder 1 misfire detectedrich or lean air/fuel mixture fuel injecter fault and faulty crank shaft sensor

Wow... Thats a lot of diagnostic codes. First... The cyl #1 misfire will cause the Engine to run rich giving you a rich running engine. Therefore the rich lean code. This misfire on cyl #1 can also throw a crankshaft sensor code as it will slow down engine rpm. I would change the spark plug and ignition coil to cyl#1 and have the codes erased and see if that solves the problem. If not, you then need to persue any codes that may reappear.

Trying to clear fault codes on 1995 toyota camry 4 cyl 2.2

Remove the EFI fuse for 10 sec or more with the ignition off. It is in Junction block 2 in the engine bay.

The trouble code will return if the fault still exists despite repair procedures.

Dodge ram50 1992 swap 2,4L to 2,6L

Greetings!

Yes, the engine mounts and bell housings are the same.
The swap should be straight forward, however be sure to swap all the vaccum controls and emission system from the 2.6L.

Have fun!
Cheers, Jay

Have fault code P0302 on 2001 VW Beetle. No it is Cylinder 2 misfire. What is likely cause, bad spark plug, wire, or Electronic ignition box?

this car has what is called coil over ignition which means no plug wires or cap so if it is missing swap coil from cyl 2 and any other cyl then clear code and rerun car till light comes back on then check code if it is still cyl 2 missfire then replace that plug if code changes to the cylinder that 2's coil was on then replace that coil <that car does have a recall for coils> if car is not missing and you have that code most likely isnt an ignition problem but will have a small vaccume leak so check the small hoses for leaks. very common for fuel preasure regulater vaccume hose to brake from age
