You need to check or have a service station check for fuel pressure. Regular pressure should be around 45psi. Very low pressure, below 25psi will allow the engine to run but at a very reduced power. Fuel pump should be inside the fuel tank.

Start by doing a tune up and fuel filter change and clean the throttle body.

yes..sir you must take your car to the nearst Honda Service Station and ask to the mechanic there to check the transmission and replace the clutch with new one. don't forget to check and maybe change all oil that have connected with your transmission. all work maybe take 1 or 2 days depend on the part that you need to change

SOURCE: 1999 honda accord idle problem:

Is the engine light on, if so have them read? Take a look the charging system (see if it is above 13volts and below 16volts), see if the gas cap is on firmly and the o-ring on it is in good shape, look at the cars maintenance history and see how long its been since the last complete tune-up. If there are no codes recorded then it would probably be a mechanical issue, Look at coils, fuel pressure, timing, and injectors. If you need more specific info, just let me know, Good luck.

Agreed, no such thing as an engine reset button. I wish it were that easy! : )

SOURCE: My honda bogs down, then pick back up, consistently

Hopefully the fuel filter. If you floor it and it has a delay or it won't reach high RPMs it's most likely the cause.

Low power and acceleration on 1990 honda accord

Sounds like a bad motor bearing. Not good news. With all spark plugs out and belts to alternator, power steering, air conditioner, etc., loose, rotate the motor by hand to see if it's free.

I have a 90 accord lx/dx.I replaced fuel filter, air filter and now the car won't stay running and once it does start after running it about 2 blocks if you let off the accelerator it putters like...

Have your engine scoped out by a reputable service shop. Was it running better before you replaced those items? Have you done a tune up lately? Did you buy bad gas? Are your fuel injectors clean? Is the fuel pump going out on you? Are your spark plugs and spark plug wires good? Are their any sensors that may need replacing? I have a 1990 Honda Accord and the car just wants to keep taking my money. It needs too much love to keep any more.

Keep blowing ECM fuse on 90 honda accord

I'm thinking the ECM is bad and grounding out, causing the car to blow the fuse. The old gas wouldn't cause this problem.
