Disassemble and clean the carb, particularly the jets. I suspect the charge light being on is a result of your destroyed battery, which needs to be replaced. Sta-bil over the winter and a smart trickle charger will prevent the problems you are having in the future...

SOURCE: my 1999 honda odyssey have a light on in the check

There is are upstream and downstream O2 sensors. 1 or 2 (upstream) before the catalytic converter which sends signals for closed loop fuel control and OBD II monitoring, and 1 (downstream) after the catalytic converter, which is used to monitor the catalytic converter operation. The PCM monitors the signal from each O2 sensor.

SOURCE: 2004 honda accord v6: check

hi.
that code means there is a fault at the bank 2 oxygen sensor.
as you stand at the frond of the car and look into the engine bay, the sensor is fitted to the middle of the exhaust manifold nearest to you. disconnect the wires on the plug, and i think it is a 22mm spanner or deep socket to remove it.
there are various proprietary oxygen sensor cleaners on the market, but there is no certainty that this will work. there could be an actual fault with the sensor, or it may be too dirty to clean.

if finances permit, i would recommending changing the sensor as a matter of course.

the ecu fault reading can be reset by removing the battery -ve lead for 30 minutes.
make sure you have the radio code before doing this as you will need to reset this as well.

if you only clean the sensor and the fault reading comes back, then you will have to change the sensor and reset the ecu again.

hope this helps.

How do I reset computer on a 2000 Nissan frontier

Why would you keep throwing parts at it and guessing what is wrong? Take it somewhere that has a scanner and see what is setting the check engine light. It could be a speed sensor, or anything for that matter. AutoZone and I am sure there are others will scan the code for free. If you live close to me I would scan it for you.

I have an 02 jeep liberty stalls after warm and is throwing multiple knock sensor codes p0325, p0330 help

P0325, P0330 are both knock sensor codes that are detected by your ECU. Considering that you are showing both codes indicates that your model trim level is either "Limited" or "Renegade" that will have a knock sensor for 2 banks (V6). Knock sensor errors will change the timing of your engine ignition and can lead to a drop in performance or worse, lead to engine stalling in order to save other components of your engine.
The common solution to remove knock sensor codes is to have the sensors replaced by an authorized mechanic; sometimes shorted electrical leads to the sensors are also a cause for the codes. Replacing the knock sensors will remove the prompting of P0325, P0330 and expect to find another fault as engine stalling is not always present with knock sensor error codes.
Hope this helps.

Would knock sensor codes cause my 2000 lexus rx300 to act like it's not getting enough fuel and the overdrive to not work?

knock sensors are significant sensors for timing advance. if the engine is knocking then the computer will retard the timing thinking that it is pinging and you can lose well over 50% power. sometimes the sensor picks up other vibrations and creates timing problems even if the engine itself is not at fault.

I replaced the knock sensor, what else could be causing acceleration problems on hills?

The knock sensor code does not always mean the sensor is faulty.
The sensor picks up noise and vibration in the engine such as a spark knock would generate, and the computer slows down the spark timing to fix it. If the noise or vibration continues, the code is set.
Could be a noisy valve, or a problem with the crankshaft or other component.

Why does my car throw the code P0100 and P0325? I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx. and it has a random misfire once in a while.

Hi,

Often a single issue can trigger multiple diagnostics codes, especially if the circuits are closely related.

Code P0100 = Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit malfunction

The computer has detected an issue with the MAF sensor.

- Verify the MAF sensor wiring is connected and wiring is in good condition
- Unplug and reconnect the MAF harness
- Check that voltage to the MAF sensor is within factory spec

Code P0325 = Knock Sensor # 1 Circuit malfunction

A knock sensor tells the engine computer when one or more of your engine's cylinders are "knocking", that is, exploding the air/fuel mixture in a way that delivers less power and can be damaging to the engine if prolonged. The computer uses this information to tune the engine so that it doesn't knock. If your knock sensor wasn't operating properly, so that it was always indicating a knock, the engine computer's response may have been to change the ignition timing on your engine. Knock sensors generally bolt into or thread into the engine block.

- Check condition of the knock sensor wiring.
- Test the 'Ohms' reading of your Knock Sensor (undo the connector and measure the pins) to ensure it is within spec (ask Nissan for this measurement). If out of spec, replace the knock sensor.

Cheers,

I have a code p0325 knock sensor 1, circuit bank 1 or single sensor problem

A knock sensor tells the engine computer when one or more of your engine's cylinders are "knocking", that is, exploding the air/fuel mixture in a way that delivers less power and can be damaging to the engine if prolonged. The computer uses this information to tune the engine so that it doesn't knock. Knock sensors generally bolt into or thread into the engine block.

This P0325 code may show up intermittently or the Service Engine light may be lit constantly. Other knock sensor related DTC codes include P0330.

Symptoms: You may notice drivability problems including a lack of power and perhaps some hesitation. There may also be other symptoms.

Causes: A code P0325 most likely means one or more of the following has happened:
* The knock sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
* There is a wiring short/fault in the knock sensor circuit

Possible Solutions
* Check the resistance of the knock sensor (compare it to factory specs)
* Check for broken/frayed wires leading to the sensor
* Replace the knock sensor

Test it and tell us news.
