My 1988tE slow acceleration, bad cold start

You have either a fouled plug or clogged injector this is common when not using premium fuel try a good octane booster and injector cleaner in the same tank of fuel in will shudder till the clog is dislodged If this does not help change you sparkplugs when your car is running correctly you will be able to Haul again Love My 89 TE would'nt trade it for any SUV

SUV good deal

Mbenz uses a poly tapered tool to do this, but if you do not have one, a putty knife will work just as well. I think you will find that you have more problems that you will care to undertake. More than likley the window regulator is broken. The local dealer says the regulator without the motor is about $250. Don't blame your wife, this is a common occurance as the regulators are flimsy.
