I replaced the battery a month ago, and it held a good charge for a few weeks, than i've had to replace the battery twice in 3 days. The alternator wiring harness is spliced not very good in my opinion by the clip at the alternator and the other end is in the fuse box in the ac-cruis fuse space with a 20 amp fuse, I'm not convinced this is where it belongs, could someone please tell me where the end is supposed to go?

There are several ways to solve this problem. You need a schematic of vehicle from Haynes or whoever, such high amperage I would place in line fuses to each item, that way it will isolate problem then look for bare or rubbing wire under seat or in doors ( too much junk jammed under seats) ? Anyway with a little time and some disassembly should be a simple fix.

Something is obviously putting a drain on the battery, if all the things you had checked are good. If you disconnect the negative terminal on the battery touch it back, it should spark a little, but not alot. If it sparks quite a bit you know something is staying on that shouldn't. Possibly a glove box light, or if your truck has a light under the hood the mercury switch in it may have gone bad causing it to stay on. If it's taking 8 days to go dead you'll be looking for something small. I hope this helps.
