SOURCE: how do you change the alternator belt on a 2002

There are two bolts on the alternator:
One holds it in position on a rail to adjust belt tension and the other mounts it to a brace. Loosen both of these and angle the alternator to release the belt tension and remove the belt. Put the new one on and reverse your removal technique. You want the belt taut, but not tight. If it squeals when it's running, just adjust the tension to make it a little bit tighter.

matt

SOURCE: 2006 toyota avalon needs new battery. how do I

You remove the positive and negative connectors and take out battery and then installation is opposite of removal. Make sure not to mix up the connections as you can do serious damage to your vehicle. You may want to consider going to a place like sears, when you buy a battery they can install it for free. Here is a link with a lot of information that will help you:

SOURCE: The fuse have been change in the 2006 toyota

Check your horn relay and the wiring going to it. If they're in good order, the horn may have shorted out (hence the blown fuse) and need replacement.

SOURCE: squeeling belts toyota avalon 2006

There are several possible reasons for this. The new belt may be the wrong size or have a different number of grooves cut into the belt. Some pulleys have more or less grooves which must match the number of grooves on any grooved pulley, even if only 1 pulley has the grooves.

Mounting the belt through different paths which makes slack in the belt.

Frozen or worn Belt tensioner which fails to put adequate tension on the belt. Idler pulley bearings can be worn out and new belt is now causing bearing to show up with noise.

When routing belt, make sure grooved part turns on grooved pulley and not the smooth backside of the belt.
