Do NOT delay in getting this checked. It may be something simple, but it could also be potentially dangerous. See the articles on the website www.graemecooper.com.au about identifying noises

SOURCE: Range Rover - Power Window - Clunk

You more than likely have a regulator (the piece holding the glass that scissors up and down) that is in a bind. Need to inspect it prior to ordering parts but I bet it is the regulator track bushing that has come apart and is binding.

Likely to be either a propshaft Universal Joint, or possibly a Constant Velocity Joint in the front axle.

Is it more of a noise when starting off (and moving slowly) when turning hard to the right or left? Whichever direction is worse, that side is the first place to check (the Constant Velocity CV joint in the swivel housing)

If both directions sound the same , check the propshaft joints.

Front end clunking sound

check the drop links they don't like bumps. fitted to the anti roll bar and the strut ( suspension strut ) change both side at same time. to check it is these grab it and pull about if it feels like its moving easy then replace. should be stiff and no movement when pulling. these make a clunking sound when they go.

I have a 2006 infiniti g35x I notice the car is making a thumping noise in the front end and is more noticeable at lower speeds it does not necessarily get worse with breaking but does not change seems to...

It's the anti-sway bar endlinks. My '06 g35x has the same symptoms - clunking at low speeds, varying from which side of the car the noise comes from as to which side of the car is hitting bumps in the road surface. EASY to replace yourself with the front end on jack stand, and you don't even need to remove the underbody plastic panel, so it's quicker than an oil change. To verify this is the problem before you order the parts (which are about $100 for the x, as it's a different part altogether than the endlinks on the RWD sedans or coupes, so be careful when ordering), just remove the current endlinks and take a test drive - don't worry about removing the whole sway bar, just the links at the ends of the bar). If this is the case, you will not hear the clunking any more. I do not recommend driving like this for any distance, as the car will become tail happy and your sway bar ends could point towards the ground while left unsupported and become damaged.

Clunk noise from front passenger side when

That noise sounds to me like a Ball Joint problem. I would check to see if you have fittings to grease the front suspention.

2003 Dodge Caravan Front end clunk.

Had similar problem with 2003 Dodge GC. Replaced the parts you mention + rack & pinion, then to fix the now noticable whining noise, replaced power steering pump and pulley. Fortunately was under an extended warrentee at 46k miles.
