Transmission not shifting correct. Engine light code is P0720. which is output speed sensor circuit malfunction. I changed the output speed sensor, the throttle position sensor, the input speed sensor, and the ecu/tcu. i have continuity from tcu connector to the sensor connector. i cut the wire a bit from the ecu/tcu and checked voltage and its only 2.4v not 5v i thought i should get. any suggestions?

If you have changed out the parts and still get the codes you probably need to have the ECM reset. The dealer can do that for you or a repair shop that has the scan tool.

The sensor should be located where the shifter cable is attached to the trans. It will have a plug with several wires. Usually there will be a way to align it, like a hole with a pin when it should be in neutral.

YOU NEED A DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER THAT WILL SHOW YOU TPS SENSOR OPERATION.WITH THROTTLE CLOSE TPS SENSOR VOLTAGE OUT PUT 0 AS YOU MOVE THROTTLE OPEN THE TPS SENSOR VOLTAGE SHOULD INCREASE TO 5.0 VOLTS THATS WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.

P0705 - Transmission Range Sensor Malfunction. The park/neutral position (PNP) switch includes a transmission range switch. The transmission range switch detects the selector lever position when the shift lever is in the N or P shift position and sends a signal to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The possible causes of this are the following: Open or short park/neutral position switch circuit. Poor park/neutral position switch circuit connection. Misadjusted park/neutral position switch. Park/neutral position switch may be faulty. Inspect the pnp switch and replace if needed.

Is the sensor threaded or held in with a bolt.
