Does anyone know what color the hazard light wire is coming from hazard switch on 1996 gmc sierra?

What color is the wire coming out of the steering wheel for the hazard switch on 1996 gmc sierra, is it gray? I want to test the right wire coming off of switch in steering wheel. When I turn on my hazard lights, I don't have hazard lights, no clicking. I am trying to find out if I have power coming from the hazard light switch.

Sure, IN USA.
the FSM shows, that (factor service manual)
or alldata.com .
what is best is the schematic.
this is the world wide web and GM exports cars and trucks
and all are wired differently (laws in your country, etc)

The audio controls and the horn will not work on my steering wheel of my 2005 gmc sierra 2500 hd

Wiring in the steering column to the switches in the steering wheel may be compromised, or the switches are possibly faulty and will have to be replaced. This is not a job for the DIYer as there is a real hazard messing with the air bag in the wheel.

No Low beam head lights and no turn signals or hazard lights. Already changed the multi function switch. What to look for next?

When you had the wiring loose for multifunction switch, if possible, knowing what color wire did what, using wiring diagram, I believe you could have used jumper wire to bypass multifunction switch to see if this or that system would work, if it doesn't, the multifunction switch probably wasn't the problem. On older vehicles it was probably easier to do something like that. Could be issue with wiring in steering column or clock spring, where applicable.Your low beam from dimmer switch goes through drl relay, with relay not energized. At the low beam head lamp, tan wire is voltage, black wire is ground.

I just bought this 1996 gmc sierra and the previous owner completely ripped out all the wiring that goes to the trailer lights . does anyone know where i can get a wiring diagram? please help. i want to go...

They make harness that plug right into the existing harness on the truck. About 25 dollars. This is your best bet as you wont be repairing them about a year from now and every year after.
