I bought a new key faub for my 2006 impala everything programmed but my remote start wont work

i had the same problem... go through the menu until you see reprogram remote. hit the check mark button and hold the lock and unlock button until the horn honks. key has to be on car not running though. You will eventually have to do it again but for some reason it will work for a while.

while the check engine is on, the remote start function is diabled automatically. You'll need to reset the light or find out why your light is on.

Add Duplicate Key (PK3 or PK3+ key)
1. Insert an existing key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder to ON (RUN) and back to OFF.
3. Remove the existing key and, within fifteen seconds, insert the new key
and turn it to ON (RUN).
4. The security light will light up for two seconds to indicate success in programming
the key into the vehicle.
Originate New Master Key (PK3 or PK3+ key)

1. Insert new key into ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON (RUN) position.
The security light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten minutes.
2. When the security light goes out, you have one minute to start the next
step. Turn the ignition cylinder to OFF and then back to the ON (RUN)
position. The security light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten
more minutes.

push relearn again then press and lock and unlock for about ten seconds till u hear beep

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, CHANGED OUT BATTERIES IN MY REMOTES AND HAD THEM TESTED AND THEY WORKED FINE. THEY DEALERSHIP STATED IT WAS NOT UNDER WARANTY AND IT WOULD COST $600 TO FIX IT. YOU CAN ONLY REPLACE IT THRU A CHEVY DEALERSHIP. KIND OF A SCAM!
