I have a 2010 Range Rover sport when I lock my doors after a few minutes my alarm will ring for no reason when I turn the car on the indicator on the dashboard always says my hood is open I open and close my hood,open and close it so I know the Hood is closed but when I lock my doors my alarm keeps going off is it a hood sensor that's bad?

Factory system or added on to the factory system that all LR's come with.

ck for binding linkage to lock actuator, also full motion of actuator

Check door hinges,could of came loose and are out of alignment.

You need to let the vehicle sit after running it for 15 - 20 mins in order for the engine control module to get an accurate reading of the oil level. This allows for the oil in the top of the heads to run back to the sump so your reading is not premature, and you dont overfill it.

pull the plastic cover off the back of the door handle ,it covers the door lock

I'm haveing a problem with my 2006 RR Sport car alarm. I can lock the door with the remote, but my alarm keeps going off. It stops but continues to go off during the day. The only message that I have received in the recent month is that my "Bonnett was open". Found out my Bonnett is the hood. Made sure the hood was closed tight and I have not received the message. But the alarm keeps going off.
