What cause my 1995 buick regal to jerk at 55 just before passing gear,i do have a leak in front tranmission line would that be it

Stop any oil leaks as the transmission requires exacting oil pressure to do the job. Any leaks reduces the pressure so gear changing is affected. Besides when do you know if the oil level has dropped below operating level and will be insufficient for the gear box.

Tranmission seems to come out of gear at various speeds.

Make sure you have the right transmission fluid chrysler has a special type of trasmission fluid I believe it ATF+4. change the fluid and filter and the add three quarts of ATF+4 and one quart of "Lucas transmission slip. This should fix the problems. Mike

Auto tranmission

You may want to have the solenoid found on the transmission checked. It is the one that sends the signal to shift. Check if the oil seal is broken or the actual solenoid needs replacing. Check also the valves in the transmission. It may be blocked or faulty.
