It is a 1995 Olds Aurora and has an all digital claimant control system ,no manual way to over ride and make come on . i just bought the car used a few months ago and it seemed to work fine set the temp and the fan speed and all was good , then all of the sudden it would not turn on no matter what setting i set it on ,,no fan speed ,,the lights all seem to work all the buttons seem to work on the steering wheel and the dash ,,but nothing happens when you turn up or down on the temp or fan ,,,not on the dash or stering wheel. i do not believe it is the blower moter ,, and when i change the setting to defrost or to heat or to blow air on through the front vents i hear it swithching but just will not engage the blower moter ..thanks for any help or sugestions .
Blower motor control module probably , but without testing that's just a guess . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Testing B+ to the module ? Do you know where the module is ? You can find a wiring diagram here , http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html There is a fuse for the blower motor in the I/P fuse box , HVAC blower 10amp ,

Most heater and A/C controls are vacuum operated. I would check to see if a vacuum hose fell off the unit or see something is blocking the line preventing operation of the controls.

i beleive these are a vacuum system. if air temp is in cold position you will get no heat. listen for hissing noise with motor turned off but key on. if you hear hissing noise you have a hose broken or off. you will have to find it

might sound a little simple, but is the dimmer switch turned all the way down? by design, those lights are all supposed to dim when the lights are turned on and the brightness is adjustable with the dimmer switch. if they are all going off and cannot be adjusted with the dimmer, i would suspect the dimmer switch is defected.

Sounds like it's the climate control center that is bad. The display shouldn't change by itself.
