Air Conditioner blows hot on one side after battery DC

My battery died on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. After getting a jump and allowing the battery to charge, I found that the driver's side vents blow hot air while all the rest of the vents (passenger seat and rear and 3rd row passengers) blow cold as usual. The Trailblazer has individual controls for the drivers seat, passenger seat, and rear compartment. Is there an easy fix for this or is it a computer problem maybe?

You need to replace the driver side temperature door control actuator. While doing this... make sure you bolt the new one in AND THEN PLUG IT IN or it will spin and not line up in the right place... then there is a series of crazy steps to fix that problem.

2003 chevy trailblazer engine dies when ac/heater switch is turned on but blower motor is unpluged

The throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime in this area prevents the throttle plate from closing completely and allowing air to enter, making the air/fuel mixture lean. Make sure to clean the front and back sides of the throttle body. Also, disconnect the battery during the cleaning process to allow the computer to reset and relearn to the cleaned throttle body.

Chevy trailblazer engine gets too hot only when i blow the air conditioner

always check coolant level first, then if ok. check fan for a/c it should come on and run anytime the a/c is on. so turn a/c on and see if fan kicks on right away if not check relay.
hope this helped.

I have a 2003 chevy trailblazer, and when i turn on the ac it works fine as im driving, but when i stop the air turns hot and the car trembles and sometimes dies.

The first thing you need to do is clean the throttle body. This area of the air intake gets dirty and gummed up and prevents proper air passage. While the cleaning is taking place, make sure the battery is disconnected so that the computer will be reset and be able to relearn with a clean air intake.
Next, you need to have the AC refrigerant checked, it may low. OR, the low idle speed because of dirty throttle body just does not allow the compressor to produce enough pressure.

Blowing hot air on the driver side other vents cool air

disconnect the battery and try again to re sync the two sides, this is a common problem on all dual climate GM cars, if you can't get them to resync then you will need to replace the climate control head..
