2011 ACADIA CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AND GAS GAUGE SHOW EMPTY

My Acadia would die while I was pumping gas and then it would take multiple attempts before it would start after filling with fuel.

I changed the purge valve solenoid and haven't had issues since. A new solenoid cost me $60 at autozone

The front motor mount and the upper engine strut mount both commonly fail. Start engine and have someone rev engine and let off while you look to see if either mount is moving excessively. The noise you are describing it is likely either or both the mounts.

Best check the code you need OBDII code reader.

Mine does something similar. Dad said that it could be the gauge could be busted. I would take it in to get it looked at. Sorry

It can be low fuel pressure or clogged fuel filter or worn out fuel pump.

it's in the wiring of the sending unit check for a bad ground or broke wire

It sounds like you have a bad wire or connection. Did you have the fuel pump changed? The mech may have been a little sloppy. I'd bet the problem is near the top of the gas tank where the pump is.

This is a safety feature that the vehicle brings. You need to reset the E.C.U on dealership or it will keep doing it to you. It was probably caused by one single time that you did not closed the fuel cap correctly. Good luck
