Every time i replace the mass air flow sensor it will work. i also changed the fuel filter. but i found out, if i disconnect the m.a.f. sensor, start and reconnect it will work again. if i let the car run idle and go into a store for 5-10 minutes, the same problem occurs. while towing a trailer it happens. while putting the car on cruise control it happens

you can pull the boat no problem. as putting in a 6.2 for the 454 you will need to change wire harness inside and out..im the brake booster...... the gear ratio in the rear ends ..fuel pump ..im guessing you have a truck you will be using for parts.. if you are doing for fuel mileage you will be disappointed you will only gain a couple of mpg .. hopes this helps

CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUAL.TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.I HAVE SEEN THOSE TRUCKS PULLING CAMPERS.YOU NEED TO HOOK UP A AUXILIARY COOLER TO RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION TO KEEP TRANSMISSION FROM OVER HEATING.WHEN TOWING PUT STRAIN ON TRANSMISSION CAUSE THEM TO OVER HEAT.

Check the wire leads and clean them before reconnecting the wire leads. It wouldn't hurt also to clean the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner, the code your getting is most common to the high performance oil base filters like K&N.
Good luck and this should help you resolve your MAF issues. Thank you for using Fixya
