Gmc vehicle recalls

I have a 2005 Sierra half ton is this one of the vehicles that have been recalled for the ignition. If so I don't believe I got a recall notice but then my husband died and not sure if I received it.

Take it to any gm dealer they can check it and fix it if it has not been done yet

i dont know of any recall for that
and yes it can be replaced without removing the bedeasy wasy too do it is go too auto zone and buy a roll of brake line and run it along side of the old one and just leave the old one in the hangers and use tie straps too hang the new one!!!

after you position the seat that is comfortable for you to drive then press and hold the 1 button on your door switch and hold it until you hear two beeps then it is programmed

Well, expensive is a relative term. Ususally this issue is the tank sender, but of course you need to test it. The problem is now most tank units also have an expensive fuel pump as part of it and both get changed. This involves tank removal in most cases. This issue is not limited to your type of vehicle.

Intermitent abs light

Since you never put a year or make i am guessing you don't care so here goes there was a recall on this back in 2005 or you can pull your sensor out and clean it then clear the code. I hope this helps you with your vehicle.

Motor relay circuit this is for the ABS, you will need ot restore the third eye brake light and check fuse in the engine junction fuse box, (cigarette lighter fuse) make sure it didnt open

My 2005 gmc sierra trucks fuel gage has not worked in over a year correctly ..never know unless write down fuel put in and mileage..and pray alot! and low and behold speedometer quit now just after...

GM does have a recall for this issue on some vehicles. You will have to call and ask. But if they won't fix it then it will need to be repaired. ask mechanics in your area who repairs the clusters. most mechanics should know where. or check for internet for a company. It is advisable that you fix what you have because everything is programmed for your truck.. a different dash may be different in features and not work properly for you. We repair many clusters here and this is one of the most common problems these trucks have.

THE DRIVER MAY EXPERIENCE A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSIST THAT COULD OCCUR AT ANY TIME WHILE DRIVING.
POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:COLUMN SHIFT. GENERAL MOTORS IS RECALLING 276,729 MY 2009 BUICK ENCLAVE, CHEVROLET COBALT, HHR, MALIBU, TRAVERSE, GMC ACADIA, PONTIAC G5, G6 AND SATURN AURA AND OUTLOOK PASSENGER VEHICLES. This is a well known issue with model years 2003 thru 2005. There is a chance GM will replace it under recall... Call the Chevy Customer Assistance Center 1-800-630-2438 to find out.
