My2006 honda has a missfire now and thin - 2002 Acura RSX

Replace the plugs and wires.

Cylinder # 1 Rear of engine, closest to timing belt.

I had this happen to me on a motor that sat before installing. The chipmunks ate thru the harness on top of the engine.Check the harness,Good luck!

Run a scan on the car. the sensor may be bad.

You may start by replacing the spark plugs and plug wires and see if that fixed your problem

Find out which cylinder is missfiring by using an inductive timing light to check each plug wire for spark. If you find a dead wire you should replace the all the wires and spark plugs. If you don't find a dead wire check the distributor cap. You could have a broken contact or a crack which might cause a loss of spark at one cylinder.

Honda wires are much better than their aftermarket counterparts so don't skimp there.

I would start with a full tune up. If it has never been done then that is the best way to start. Make sure that you gap your plugs. NGK plugs are the best for any and all Honda's. Let us know how it goes.
