How to reset jeep ac - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

It is located in the AC compressor liquid line which is the smaller of the 2 AC lines under the hood, the liquid line connects to the inlet of the AC evaporator core

Check fuses, could be same trbl. Not jeep inclined.

Make sure your fan clutch is working. No fan, no cooling of the condenser, no heat dissipation, no cold air. Start the truck and make sure you feel air movement, a lot.

Have a good mechanic to check to see if the door of the a/c and heater and defroster is working properly. I had the same problem and one mechanic said he could fix it for $750. I got it fixed by an honest mechanic for less than $100. Good Luck!!

Your jeep has an electric fan which should come on whenever the AC is on or if the temp goes over the 1/2 way point. It is fed by a 20 amp fuse in the engine fuse box. If the fuse continuously blows, replace the fan

if ac gas pressure is low in ac lines, system may not work correctly. once i found main reason of having non operational compressor on jeep cheorkee was only the loss of gas inside AC lines. plus please check for AC relay under hood. it can go broken.
