check the resistor block; this resistor block controls the ground side of the fan motor, some caddys used a digtal display and on those the power relay also control power if was normaly found under the hood next to the wiper module some were under the dash.

SOURCE: AC compressor clutch is cutting on and off

You have to start by testing the pressure in the system. If it was cycling a lot and then quit it sounds like you developed a leak somewhere and once it fell below the low pressure switch it will not come on.

The system works with a high and low pressure switch that will cut out if the pressure is too high or low. When the system looses pressure it will fall below the low while running, turning off the compressor, When the compressor is off the high side and low side equalize out bringing the stationary pressure above the low limit, turning the system on again. This cycle will repeat until there is not enough pressure when equalized to turn the system back on.

If the pressure is good, go next to the relay, it should be located on the fire wall. if the relay is right, then you need to determine if it is high or low pressure switch shutting it off. IF it is the high, you probably have a restriction in the system, You could also have a problem with the compressor. With the car not running manually turn the clutch and see how much play, smell the area and smell if there is a burnt odor, then try to turn the armature that goes into the compressor. see if it is frozen.

SOURCE: 1995 Cadillac Deville

In my 1990 Cadillac Deville there is a sticker that says that one can reset the computer that controls the compressor by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and reconnecting.

Did you disconnect the battery to reset the a/c system?

The symptoms you are describing lead me to believe that there is a safety feature that prevents the compressor from engaging when the compressor has been run for any length of time without at least .5 lbs. of freon in the system.

You said that you had to run a hot wire to charge it up with freon. But, if you ran it without freon, it may have automatically invoked the 'safety' feature.

I have seen this happen on my 1990 cadillac. I haven't had any problems on my 1997 Cadillac Limousine, because I never had a low charge on that car.

I have a 1999 honda accord with issues.. i have replaced a leaking battery and terminals. the car wouldnt start before that. after changing the battery, i have no power at all inside the car.

when the battery leaked on top of the battery ?
It would have had corrosion on the battery terminals like a white chalky residue ?
You may need to get a rat tail file and gently file the inside of the terminals to clean the corrosion off or buy new replacement battery terminals and reattach to the battery cables.

If you have a volt meter put the negative probe directly on the negative battery post and put the positive probe directly on the positive post of the battery. If you read 12 volts then try doing this on the battery terminal connectors and see if they read 12 Volts.

Corrosion might be in the cables depends on how bad the leak was .

Radiator hose broke after fixing that problem the car will crank but not start the anti teft light flashes

try to do a hard reset. remove battery cable for 2 minutes and reconect. if it does not work try starting with a spare key. if you dont have a spare key then you have to buy a reprogram a new key. this is something only the dealership can do. well it depends where you are

I hooked the battery post up backwards an it caused all sorts of things to happen the one I need help with is when I go to turn on my heater/AC none of it works at all it don't blow or anything..

It's amazing the car even runs. Reverse polarity on a car battery will usually fry the ECU, which is the computer that runs everything from the engine timing to smog control. Consider yourself lucky.
You must have had the Blower motor in the On position and tried to start the car after the battery hookup.
First start at the fuse for the Blower motor, which may be under the drivers side dash or in the engine compartment. (you did not specify the vehicle make)
If the fuse is OK, then the relay may be fried. relays are usually under the hood inside the big fuse/relay box. Look at the fuse/relay legend (map) inside the cover and locate the relay for the Blower motor. It may just have a 'fan blade' symbol. Exchange it for a relay of the same type and style in the same box. Put the 'new' relay in the blower motor socket. Turn the key to the 'On' position (just before 'Start') and test the blower motor. Turn the key off. If it worked, take the bad relay to a car parts store and buy a new one. It'll cost between $10 and $50. I know, doesn't seem worth it.
If that doesn't fix it, return the relays to their original position and go to the parts store and buy a repair manual for your year, make and model. Locate the section on Heat/AC and replace the Blower Motor Resistor. That's probably the culprit. Short of that, take it to the dealer or a good repair shop, that you trust. It can be an involved repair job.

Ok on my 98 Chevy s10 I've pin pointed down to the

If you can make the injector click without cranking the engine, the injector ground circuit is bad, probably the computer.
If the injector only clicks when cranking, the ground circuit is working right, so the problem is with the injector drive circuit. There should be a fuse for the injectors in the power distribution box by the battery. Have you checked for that? Also check for power to the fuse with key on. Use a testlight or voltmeter to check for power.

The battery dead, when I wanna jump the battery the alarm system run,why ? how can I stop the alarm system ?

Basically that battery is completely dead so when you try to jump it it turns the alarm back on. U gotta buy a new battery and when you install it immediately hit the disarm button and you should be ok. If it doesnt turn off you may want somebody with you to help putting the car in the on postion as soon as you connect the battery to turn off the alarm. Also try putting the key in the door and manually unlock the door with the key to disarm the battery

Why not just put an ac compressor switch inside? At least until you come across a diagram. At least you wont have to bear the heat of the summer as you wait for that diagram. Make sure though that you cut the original wire, otherwise you are putting 12volts somewhere inside the car which could damage somethind like an electronic circuit.
