2010 camaros only have one central switch just under the radio. It operates a relay that controls the actuators in both doors. Run a trace to eliminate a faulty relay, blown fuse or bad switch. If the doors lock and unlock using the remote I doubt it's the relay. Check the door settings does it unlock when car is shifted into park? If not check settings. Refer to your manual for details of how to set locks.
Check the wiring to the rear hatch. The cables break and cause a variety fo problems like yours. You will have to take the plastic cover off and expose the cables.
Chrysler problem for YEARS. It is located under the dash on the passenger side close to the middle. Accessible from passenger foot area. Black plastic housing must be removed and relay is located inside. Have replaced over a dozen in my own Dakota and Liberty.
Passenger side of the fender under the hood - check the fuse relay box - about $12.00 a piece - they do go bad from time to time.
exchange the power lock relay with another one and test the locks.
then put the relay back and go to the autostore.
Automatic door locks on the 2001 Sonata doesn't exist. The doors are locked manually (by the driver) or by using the Keless Remote. To answer your question, YES, there is a separate relay for each function .. this means there is a relay which LOCKS the doors, and there is a separate relay which UNLOCKS the doors. They are located side-by-side on the I/P junction box (I/P = Instrument Panel).
They are both labeled "Lock", but one "UNLOCKS" while the other one 'LOCKS'.
Hope this helps.
