Before you spend lots of money guessing replacing the MAP sensor like others, let me tell you what was my problems. In the morning or any time my car sit for long period and the engine is cold the car run fine as long as the check engine light stay off. After while when the engine reaches operating temperature the light come on and the car runs horrible from bogging when apply on the gas or want to stall at idle, will not pick up any speed as long the light stay on. I just about have changed everything on the car beside distributor..went from replacing 02 sensor, engine temp sensor, check for leaks han realized it has to be MAP sensor. I hope that wasn't the problems because the dawn thing cost 200.00 bucks new and its a big gamble if it not the issue, I was lucky enough to get one out of the junk yard for 50.00 and BAM!!! the light went off and the car ran like it was new.

easier to know why all that is being changed
have you got fault codes to determine all of that or are you just replacing everything

but you need to get quotes to fix what is actually wrong
Yes you can with sensor safe cleaner. They sell it at auto parts stores. If it doesn't work after cleaning it do not buy the sensor at a parts store. Spend the extra money and get the correct sensor at the dealership. If you dont you may buy and replace it again when the $28.00 part from the parts store doesn't fix it. Spend $22.00 more the first time and fix it once .
Could be a million things, low on oil,or other fluids, but in most cases something like 02 sensor not working, or Cadillac converter problem. Without spending a lot of money on a lot of guess work, take car to service center and they will put on computer and it will tell them and you what problem is. most shops dont charge for this or very little. Could a lot of different things, remote diagnosis is difficult and you could replace a lot of parts guessing. I think this is a case where it is worth paying a good mechanic to at least make a diagnosis. You may choose to repair it yourself to save money, but I think it would be worth the $50 or so for proper diagnostics. Otherwise you could easily spend that much replacing good parts and not fix the problem.
Has it been tuned up recently (new plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter)? If that needs to be done anyway, then do that, and see if it helps. Otherwise, pay for a diagnosis. It could be a mass air flow sensor, or throttle position sensor, or EGR valve, or oxygen sensor, or any of several other things.
they need to be reset after the problem sensor or part is replaced.if you dont the lights will stay on even of the problem is fixed. as a mechanic i cant tell you how many times people chase down these fault codes and buy parts trying to fix them when hooking them up to a code reader for 5 minutes can tell the whole story. i use it on my own cars. there is no point in guessing and spending alot of money chasing your tail.
Guessing is the way to spend the most amount of money. After spending a lot of money guessing, most people dont want to spend money fixing the real problem, which in all cases, cost less than what they have spent. A shop will need to take it from here, First is to narrow down which cylinder is misfiring then go from there, Check fuel trims, compression, Vac leak, signal from the injector to the ecm. The injector is hot and the ecm grounds it. You dont say which engine you have, but the 2.4L have had a lot of coil housings go bad.
are there any other codes set?. frist i would look at the map sensor readings. the map sensor reads vauccmn at ilde the engine shows a high vacuumn reading 14 to 21 inches, as the throttle is opended up vacuumn drops, if the sensor dose not responds the pcm will go to a fixed value. which means the o2 sensor will only read what it senses in the exhaust, what you have to remeber is that the o2 sensors are the last sensors to see what and how the mtr is running. if you do not have abilty to look at the data stream you may end up spending more money by replacing parts until you fix it . good luck and let us know what happens
I don't have a solution to the problem, but Mazda should. I have replaced 3 different ignition coils in the last 3 months. I am spending more on repairs than I was in a car payment. Mazda has been no help at all!
