2005 Jeep Liberty A/C

I wanted to know where to find the low-pressure valve in order to recharge the system. I have seen two black valve covers, one near the radiator and just north of the windshield washer fluid cap. I'm assuming it is the one near the radiator, but I wanted to check first and make sure.

SOURCE: 2002 Jeep Liberty Radiator/trans cooler

If you want to install another cooler, you will have to put it in-line either bofre or after the radiator. I have a liberty as well, and have done much towing, and have never had the need for an additional trans cooler.

SOURCE: My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's windshield washer is not working.

Check power at the pump motors. You may not see a fuse because some run off a circuit breaker. If all else fails, a bit "backyard" but you likely could break out the washer pumps from the system and make a simple push button on the dash to operate them.

2007 jeep liberty 3.7L 4x4 AC low pressure port leaking after valve replaced. AC loses cooling after a week.

Evacuate the system and replace the valve core. Then pull a vacuum and recharge with refrigerant and whatever oil was lost.

Leaking a/c low pressure valve

This is illegal as you are not allowed to release any type of refrigerant in the open atmosphere. If it has all leaked out and the system is 100% empty, you should be able to replace the valve and charge the system. If you depress the schrader valve and it is pressureized, you will have to have the system evacuated
Keep in mind there is a system to charging it and you will want ot make sure you are doing it correctly for your vehicle.

Heavy vibration in 2005 jeep liberty

Check fuel pump and pressure on the system; also keep in mind that, if you drive with low gas, could damage the injection system.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

How to recharge ac in 2002 jeep liberty. they say the blue cap but the caps are all black

the low side line is the one you want to use to charge the a/c. The low side fitting is always on the larger line and is always the smaller fitting. The high side fitting is larger and always on the smaller line. They make the fittings two different sizes so that you can not place a low side connector on the high side fitting.

Make sure the vehicle is running and the a/c is on before you start to fill the system.

My 2006 jeep liberty ac blows hot air and the clutch doesn't engage ,it turns ok with your hand.

Check fuses, if ok, then check for freon pressure, if low on freon, low pressure switch, will keep a/c compr. from coming on, so it don't get damage due to low on freon, recharge a/c system, if low and check for leaks.

How do i tell the low side from the high side on the ac system

The low side has a black cap covering the recharge valve. Even if you tried to place the recharge hose on the high side, it will never fit and is designed for the use of a totally different hose fitting.

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty, my airconditioning is blowing hot air. I could hear a clicking sound from my compressor area, so I pop the hood, and the sound is from the gear not turning. I could also see my...

You are low on refrigerant,, whats happening is the low pressure switch hits cut out settings to prevent compresser damage, hence the pressure drop, once the pressure comes back up on the suction side, compresser is engaged again and cuts out, this happens very rapidly, sooo, purge and recharge the system, add dye to it, because there is a small leak somewhere, GOOD LUCK, RDJRP

2005 jeep liberty stuck in 4 low

Alot of times those cheap cables mess up. You have to manually get under and move the lever to 2HI. Once that is done get a new cable from Jeep and insttall it. I have seen others modify thier cables to work but everyone I know of was brazed.
