SOURCE: Power Steering pump appears to be leaking but is full????

Just guessing. Could it be a warped brake disk? That would cause vibration. And vibration in steering might conceivably cause splashing out the power steering reservoir. You would know if the disk were warped by a shudder when you brake at hight speeds.

1993 Toyota Tercel. Relay de apertura de circuito.

When you turn the key, the fuel pump pressurizes the system and then waits until the engine is running. 3 Seconds is about right.

The Fuel Pump Relay is shown in the link.

Hi! I have a 1993 toyota pickup and recently it stopped shifting into third or fouth gear. it runs perfect in first, second, fifth., reverse. It started when i pulled out in first and i heard a pop and...

Check first the fluid if it needs replacing or you may need to add more. Dirt in the fluid may be a sign that the valve for the 3rd gear may be dirty or full of debris. If one gear is dirty normally the next gears are affected.

I was driving my '93 Toyota Tercel, When I went to shift, the shifter got stuck in third gear. Now I am down to my last $100, and I fear my car is done for. The car has 240,000 miles on it.

So you were driving when it got stuck? Were you able to keep driving but only in third? And did you hear any noises?

There is a cable that runs from the shifter to a shift lever on the back of the transmission. It connects just below and to the left of of the air filter housing. Look and see if the anything is damaged, or broken off. If that linkage is jammed or broken you wouldnt be able to move the gearshift.

If you check out the linkage and dont see any problems, detach the cable from the shift lever. Then
try moving the shift lever by hand. I can tell you exactly how to detach it if you need. I will have to go look at the cable on my car to remember how to remove it. I have a 1992 Tercel, should be the same as yours.

Thats the best case scenario. Worst case, transmission is bad.

When you push the clutch pedal, does it feel normal?

the linkage or the cable from the shifter to the trans.?

block the tires so the car can not roll away...
open the hood and remove the cable from the shifter on the transmission.
see if you can manualy move the shifter on the trans.
if that moves... you may need to replace the cable (shift linkage)

Stuck in third gear

Disconnect the linkage from the tranny. Manually move it on the tranny. Does it still do it. If so you have an issue with the tranny. If not its the shifter.
