SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac Torrent rear drums

They pull off just like any other vehicle, unless you live in an area where they use salt. Brake and suspension parts on these rust and sieze quickly. Soak with penetrating oil and keep tapping around perimiter. I do this for a living, and I've had Torrent drums take me hours to break loose (I'm surprised the wheels even came off)

I have a 2006 pontiac torrent n puttin in a new starter ,,it has 2 posts 1 has the solenoid wire n 1 for power wire does the other wire go on the solenoid post or the power post ?

Usually two voltage circuits to the starter solenoid. The largest terminal should the cable that comes from battery. A smaller cable, although still big, with insulation on it, is the starter field terminal, goes into the starter motor body.
There should be a smaller terminal, starter s terminal that is feed from starter switch crank position.
You may have to compare old starter solenoid with new one, as far as the wiring. See if they are the same as far as wire terminals? I'm not sure I answered your question? I can't see anything from here?

MY 2007 PONTIAC TORRENT ingition turns on with all the power but when trying to start the car I get nothing,My starter motor has power going to it but still nothing

May be weak battery try jumper cables.
clean both cables at battery
then have the battery load tested.
Next remove starter and connect with jumper cables.
bypass solenoid with screwdriver.
if the battery is dun down measure the alternator output.
it should run at 14.7 vdc with everything turned on.

I have a 2006 Torrent that keeps trying to start itself. No key in the ignition. When its not trying to crank the starter, the lights on the dash blink on and off.

Serious wiring problem or short--get fixed very soon or it MAY catch on fire or burn wires out--remove battery cable until you either drive or tow it to a garage.
