Why does chevrolet suburban alarm keeps going off?

unplug your battery terminal positve or negative one.
wear a glove for safety

to disarm the factory alarm try unlocking driver door with the key. does it blow the horn or does it have a siren?

CAR ALARM ISSUES

It can be any of the car doors not got properly locked or the door is locked but the switch is not sensing the door locked. Open and close each door again properly.

Or else its problem with any of switch wiring getting in contact with alarm wiring causing it to happen.

And last thing alarm connections need to be inspected. It's getting short somewhere in between.

does the motor crank when key is turned?If so check for a spark at the plugs.Get an auto electrician bypass your alarm

my 05 has 107,000 and is doing the exact same thing. I did turn interior light button off, so the lights wont turn on. It only seems to happen after a wet weather period, which leads me to believe there is some sort of leak. Still can't fix it though.

IF AFTER MARKET ALARM IT HAS INLINE FUSES IN WIRING

If this is a factory alarm then possibly the driver's door power lock actuator is bad. 2008 Suburban may still be under factory warranty. Check with your dealer.

get a jimmy and unlock the door that way the raise the hood and take the pos cable off
